I am a retired commercial and residential general contractor. My completed projects include retail stores, restaurants (Many well known), banks, small office buildings, small shopping centers, country clubs, custom homes, remodels and rehabilitations of all varieties.
My experience as a carpenter and tradesman serves as my foundation. My supervision and project management skills…the structure.
In addition to being a general contractor, I have also had the opportunity to be a construction consultant for small and large firms as well as individuals, serving as an owner’s advocate involved in all aspects of the projects from the very inception to completion.
I have always enjoyed the work and now I enjoy helping both buyers and sellers through the inspection process.
Having the experience in the trades is of course very helpful, but it is not enough. I have also completed over 600 credit hours of invaluable continuing education training dealing with all phases of the inspection process.
It is that combination of hands-on field experience enhanced by the completion of the varied structures and then the addition of the inspector training taught by the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors, that sets me apart from the others.
